Mapping of Pacific labour sending country skills development needs

Background
The PACER Plus Implementation Unit (PPIU) seeks Expressions of Interest for the mapping of Pacific labour sending country skills development needs in the case study countries of Samoa, Kiribati, and Solomon Islands.

Studies have shown that skills gaps in Pacific labour markets are pervasive and are key constraints to sustainable development. Labour mobility can be a process of skills formation that can help address these skills gaps. This assignment is to map skills gaps faced by the local private sector in the three case study countries, to help inform the design of Pacific reintegration strategies and skills training programs in labour sending and labour receiving countries.
